Summer is here and keeping the kids busy is always a must.
We love spending time outdoors and finding spots that are kid friendly are top on our list.
Here are some of our favorite places to visit around Oahu with the kids to spend some of our summer days at.
Honolulu Zoo
Enjoy a morning out at the Honolulu Zoo. Bring along a kid friendly picnic and have fun seeing all the exhibits throughout the Zoo. You can also purchase lunch and snacks at their cafe. They are open daily from 10am-3pm.
Fosters Botanical Garden
Another favorite is Fosters Botanical Garden. Did you know that Fosters is the oldest Botanical Garden in Honolulu?
We love their butterfly garden and conservatory. Bring the family along, pack some snacks and enjoy this 14-acre garden.
Kahuku Farms
Let's support our local farmers!
Take a drive to the North Shore and spend the day at Kahuku Farms. Take a walk around the farm, order from their Farm Cafe and picnic under the beautiful trees. Their Cafe is open Friday-Monday 11am-4pm and you can order ahead of time.
I am obsessed with their Veggie Panini and Grilled Banana Bread.
Tropics Mini Golf
Book a Tee Time at Tropics Mini Golf! This is a great spot to visit with the kids to try something new. The course is challenging and fun and it is a great way to spend time with the family. They also have Texas BBQ on site in case you get hungry. http://tropicsminigolf.com/
